Just wrong...wrong that a child lost her life, wrong that parents have to grieve for a child, wrong that this disease 'won' another battle. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends...and all of my DOC friends who feel this just as much as if we knew her, too.

It breaks my heart too. This one has really hit me hard this morning. She was diagnosed the same age as my daughter. A cure is needed now.

My heart is broken each time I read one of these stories. No matter what you do... you just never know.
