Blessings by Laura Story

If you haven't heard this song, today is the day to change that.

It's a beautiful song that very D-Mom will identify with.  Especially the line about sleepless nights.

I cry every single time I hear it.

And guess what?  Someone sang it in church today.  As the tears spilled out of my eyes, boy was I wishing there was a tissue in my purse.

Laura's husband has been battling a brain tumor and this song was born out of those moments.

Listen to here share her story here.  It's runs about 2 minutes, then listen to the song.

Oh....And have a tissue handy.

Every time I hear it, I cannot help but to think about our diabetes journey.

Thanks for the link.

I admire her love for the Lord and her patience when it sometimes feels that God is not answering our prayers.

That is a beautiful song!

I've learned now to ALWAYS have a little pack of tissues in my purse for church.LOL I just never know when something is going to open up the flood gates. I'm a lot more emotional since Andrew's diagnosis, especially at church. I think it has a lot to do with the appreciation I have of the Lord's protection and guidance over us through this new journey called diabetes.

You and me would make a great pair at church!LOL

A tissue is right! I heard this the other day on the way to the grocery store...I was crying the whole way there but I loved it. Thanks for sharing it with everyone who may not have heard it yet. Loving your blog by the way!
