As of this writing, Matthew has given himself SIX shots. His hand doesn't even shake. I swear my hands shook for a solid month after his diagnosis and still do if someone is watching me.
Matthew also got an award at camp: Most Responsible. I told him when he applies to be a CIT one day, he can tell them he got this award and that will certainly work in his favor!
We won't tell them the "Most Responsible Certificate" was dropped on the ground, stepped on by a muddy shoe, crumbled up and crammed into his bag.....no one has to know that.....right? : )

Im so glad that matthew had such a good time at camp and sorry to see it end and hope he will go next yr as well . Congrats to matthew and you mom for being so confident and doing what it takes .
So glad to hear that Matthew had such a great week at camp! Bekah's camp is a month out still. Reading your posts stirred up my excitement for her. I hope she has a good of an experience as Matthew did.
YAY! And yes, no one needs to know about what happened to the certificate after the fact - smiles.
