I Got Back Up

Sorry about yesterday. I don't like to be depressing on my blog. I want people to come for a visit and walk away with a smile. Ummmm....that wasn't really happening yesterday.

It's just that some of the reality of the D-life is hitting me and it isn't pretty. But I'm okay with that.

Do you like Toby Mac? He's not my favorite, but I do enjoy this song a lot. It's great to listen to when I run. Here's the chorus. I found myself singing it a lot yesterday.

Get Back Up by Toby Mac

Chorus:
We lose our way, we get back up again
It’s never too late to get back up again
And one day you gonna’ shine again
You may be knocked down, but not out forever.

We lose our way, we get back up again
So get up, get up, you gonna’ shine again
It’s never too late to get back up again
You may be knocked down, but not out forever.

I got back up. With God's help, I got back up and I will get through this.

With a joyful attitude.

If it kills me. : )

A special thank you to everyone who left a comment. God is using each and every one of you to bless and encourage me.

One day I'm going to win the lottery (if I ever decide to play) and we're all going on an exciting trip. Yep, the dads will be in charge and we will do nothing but sleep for 2 days straight and then we'll visit. How's that?

Oh that sounds so good but I would be scared to leave my hubby with the bird and dogs and house all alone . Oh my god my house would look like a tornado hit it and also the dishwasher would probably have two wks worth of dishes instead of two days . LOL !!!! sounds wonderful though and yes I said if money were no object I would have an italian address prefably somewhere in venice or florence .

WOOT WOOT on the lottery girl!!! I am in for sure. I am glad you are doing better today. I get the "bad" days and it is OK to vent. I hate always feeling the need to keep up a "perky" and "positive" attitude. I think that is why I started blogging in the first place.

I am with Reyna! Blogging is the one place I feel like I can express the real me! NO ONE goes around and is perky and positive ALL the time. Vent away! That is what we are here for. :)

Glad you are feeling better today, and definitely sign me up for that trip! :)

Glad things are looking up for you. I started blogging because I need a place to leave all of the ugly thoughts that creep in with D. Before I started my blog I felt like I was going to explode and the only thing left was going to be my ugly thoughts roaming around. D is stressful and your blog is a place where you should feel safe to share your heart. Some days it comes with a happy face and other days not so much and that is ok. ((hugs)) <3 you sweet friend!

You know I'm in. Where ever you want to go! It's ok to have some down days...it shows that you are human! We all have them. It is part of the process and YOUR blog is for sure the place to let it all out! ((HUGS))
